The bill (Reg. No. 11118) suggests defining legal basis to monitor state aid to business entities and exercising control over admissibility of such help for competition aiming at protecting and developing competitiveness, enhancing the transparency of state aid, as well as complying with international obligations in the sphere of state aid.
People’s deputies believe that implementation of bill provisions will allow for establishing institutional, legal and organizational basis for transparent functioning of the state aid system in Ukraine. This should minimize negative effect of state aid influence on competition and international trade; create equal conditions for the activity of business entities on the commodity markets of Ukraine; stimulate state support on regional development; promote realization of important national projects; as well as technical development and innovation.
